The gondola lift is currently out of operation due to company holidays. Spring operations will take place on the following dates: May 14 to May 17 (Ascension Day) and from May 23 to May 25 (Pentecost). During this period, the operating times are as follows: 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. The 2026 summer season begins on June 20 and lasts until October 25, 2026.
The old tunnel is currently open again and can be used. Please observe the on-site signage, as the tunnel may be closed again at any time due to the risk of rockfall. Thank you for your understanding.
The Patnaul hiking trail (connecting Vrin and Vals) will be closed from 29 June 2026 until approximately September 2026, as a sheep flock with livestock guardian dogs is present in the area. The section of the trail from Vals to Patnaul Pass remains open and accessible.
