Gschichtli Weg

Create mental images. Instead of looking at pictures on a smartphones, children can listen to the stories of the great outdoors. The Gschichtli-Weg promotes the important skill of ‘listening comprehension’ in the children.

The “Gschichtli-Weg”

There are 10 stations with different QR codes. You scan the code with your smartphone and listen to the story. A new story is uploaded 4 times a year. The stories last 3 minutes per station, for a total of 30 minutes. The walk takes about 1 hour with children.

The Gschichtli trail starts next to the Visit Vals tourist office at the minigolf and leads towards Soladüra via the Höhenweg to Schniderhus. Last stop on the dam path. Enjoy your walk!

Who Stole the Goblin’s Treasure?

It is well known that there is a treasure at the end of every rainbow. The treasures are guarded by Köbi the Goblin. He guards the treasures of all the fairytale creatures. From the gold thread of Rumpelstiltskin to the presents from Santa Claus. When the fairytale creatures need something, such as snow for the Snowman or pixie dust for the Fairies, they go to the Goblin, who looks after all the treasures. He guarantees their safety with the promise that if their treasures are stolen, he’ll make their wishes come true. This has never happened – until now. For today, the treasures are being stolen. Right in front of everyone.

How could this happen? Who did it? All children are invited to come on the “Gschichtli-Weg” and solve the mystery.
