The Three Lakes Hike is considered one of the most beautiful hikes in Grisons. Corrie lakes glisten in shades of blue and green in the sunshine and the alpine scenery is magnificent.
Looking down the Zerfreila reservoir you will see the distinctive Zerfreilahorn zo the southwest. From northwest to north, you can admire the Frunthorn, Dachberg, Schwarz- and Faltschonhorn, Piz Aul, and Piz Serenastga. A magnificent scene unfolds at Lake Guraletsch (2409 m), with the steep walls of the Fanellahorn in the background. The moorland is interspersed with cotton grass. Both Lake Ampervreila (2377 m) and Lake Selva (2297 m) are beautifully “embedded” in the landscape.
