Embark on a beautiful and diverse walk through forests and over green winter meadows.

Along the path, you’ll find small metal plaques displaying the many historical place and field names. This is a beautiful, varied hike through forests and across green terraced meadows. In the past, the old Zerfreila path was the only connection between Zerfreila and Vals on the right side of the valley. Shady forest trails with steeper, rocky sections alternate with green meadow patches, but the path primarily runs through the woods. There are always interesting sights along the way: the “Waarma Chracha,” a deep rock fissure, the Calvari Chapel in the forest, and frequent glimpses into the deep Rotabärg Gorge.
