The Hora, affectionately called “Höreli” by the locals, is a prominent mountain in the Vals Valley. The mountain trail from Pradätsch to Hora, which has been fully signposted since 2012, takes you to the top of Vals’ home mountain.
The mountain trail from Pradätsch to Hora, which has been fully signposted since 2012, takes you to the local mountain of Vals. From the summit at 2372 metres above sea level you can enjoy the view down to the village and admire the panorama with numerous Vals mountains.
From Pradätsch, the view (north-west) of the Tödikette and Lugnez is impressive. Towards the valley you can see Zerfreila and some peaks of the Adula massif. And on either side of the mountain are the bizarre rocks of Hora. At the top you can enjoy a spectacular view down to Vals and the wide panorama.

Several paid car parks are available in Vals, including a charging station for electric cars. There are also car parks for motorhomes and campers right next to the gondola
Take the Vals hiking bus to the start of your hike or mountain tour. The bus runs on a fixed weekly schedule from the village to various departure points.
