Alpine RouteSalahorn

Take the road less travelled and explore the largely unknown Canal Valley, with its wild and steep slopes.

For those looking for extra peace and quiet: The Salahorn is a remote and lonely viewing summit on the border to the rear Rhine forest.

Of the five valleys in the municipality of Vals, the Canal Valley is the least known and the least travelled. Starting from the Zerfreilasee, wild and steep slopes lead to the foot of the Güferhorn (3379m), the second highest peak in the Vals valley.
