Mountain RouteSatteltichopf

The Sattelichopf offers hikers a quieter alternative to the popular Faltschonhorn. With spectacular views of Vals from 1600 metres, it’s well worth a visit.

See the village from 1600m: Located directly above Leisalp, Sattelichopf offers an attractive alternative to the frequently climbed Faltschonhorn.

Prominent and always visible, the mountain peaks of the “Breitengrad” rise above the expansive grassy slopes of Leisalp. This impressive mountain range shapes the eastern slope of the Valsertal, not only with its well-known peaks of Piz Aul and Faltschonhorn, but especially with the prominent hump of Sattelichopf, which often stands out.
