Valser HerbstlaufOktober 5, 2025

The “Valser Herbstlauf” offers a running experience for everyone. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply want to soak in the breathtaking scenery, this event ensures that every runner crosses the finish line with a sense of accomplishment.

The Event for Running Fans of All Ages

The 7th edition of the “Valser Herbstlauf” is dedicated to the joy of running. Whilst the “trailrun” category is a timed competition, the “connoisseur” category invites participants to soak in the unique atmosphere at their own pace.

The Route

Starting in Vals at the village square, the trail leads runners along a renowned single-track hiking path to Zervreila and continues via Frunt to the finish at Gadastatt. Covering approximately 12 kilometers, the route challenges participants with an elevation gain of 730 meters, climbing from the lowest point in Vals to the highest point at Frunt. While the event features timekeeping and rankings, the focus remains on the overall running experience. The Vals Autumn Run welcomes enthusiasts of all ages. Running poles are allowed but must be carried to the finish.
