Ski & Snowboardin Vals

After opening the Faltschona 2 lift on Monday, we are delighted to announce that we will also be opening the Dachberg lift and Dachberg slope on Saturday, 31 January. In the Lift 1 Glarr area, the slope conditions and lift route are in good condition. In the Faltschona and Dachberg lift areas, conditions are not as good due to the snow conditions, and we recommend that only experienced snow sports enthusiasts use them. The Valser slope serves as a connecting slope and cannot be groomed to its full width due to the lack of snow. For refreshments and a good atmosphere, the Gadastatt Restaurant, the scHirmbar, and also the Dachberghütte, will be open for you.
Skiing and Snowboarding Away From the Crowds.
The Vals ski area on the Dachberg reaches up to nearly 3,000 meters, making it one of the highest resorts in Grisons with reliable snow cover. Amidst a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views that strech from the Eastern Alps and the Bernina Massif to the towering 4,000-meter peaks of the Valais.
Skiers and snowboarders will find a variety of well-groomed slopes to carve their turns, while adventurous freeriders can glide through untouched powder off-piste.

Cable Car Operation
An 8-seater gondola lift takes young and old up to Gadastatt at 1,817 metres above sea level. There, you will find a pony lift where children and beginners can playfully practice going up and down the mountain. Experienced skiers and snowboarders can take three more T-bar lifts up to almost 3,000 metres, where you can enjoy the impressive high alpine panorama of the Dachberg, before starting their descent back down to the valley.
