Snowshoe-TrailBidanätsch

The crunch of snow and the silence of the mountains clear the mind. Snowshoeing combines nature, freedom, and meditative calm. Guided tours are ideal, while exploring on your own requires caution.

Gadastatt – Moos – Kristallloch

The Bidanätsch Snowshoe-Trail starts at the Gadastatt mountain station of the Vals gondola and leads through a varied winter landscape. The approximately 5.6 km long, fully marked route takes about three hours to complete. Open pine forests, vast alpine meadows, and an expansive mountain panorama surround snowshoers on their gentle hike between 1,800 and 2,000 meters above sea level.

Route

The snowshoe route Bidanätsch is divided into a smaller and a larger loop: from Gadastatt to Kristallloch and further from Kristallloch to Bidanätsch and back to Kristallloch. At several points, the snowshoe route crosses or touches the marked winter hiking trail Moos – Kristallloch. These spots are ideal for an early exit, a break, or a convenient return.
