Four award-winning master architects have created rooms of an extraordinary kind for the 7132 House of Architects – Inspiring. Surprising. Different.

Tadao Ando’s room is a striking homage to the subtle aesthetics of Japanese teahouses. Kengo Kuma has created a cosy cocoon clad in contemporary Swiss oak panels. In Thom Mayne’s room, the shower is a free-standing organic sculpture. Peter Zumthor’s design combines a plaster technique from the Italian Renaissance with a unique colour scheme and curtains made from fine Japanese habotai silk.
