The gondola lift ride is free for everyone.
You do not need to buy a ticket for the cable car to Gadastatt

1 In principle, juniors under the age of 16 travel free of charge. If the 16th birthday falls in the winter season, the junior fare also applies if the season ticket is purchased before the 16th birthday.
Juniors receive the season ticket free of charge and must therefore prove their identity with an identity card from the age of 12. Free season tickets can be purchased at the Visit Vals tourist office.
Buy your season pass online or in person at the Visit Vals tourist office on Poststrasse. You will receive the chargeable season ticket with the invoice delivered to your home when you buy it online. It can be returned at any time until the start of winter without any loss of return. There are no ‘last minute’ sales at the end of November. To avoid waiting times on the first day of winter sports, please order your season ticket now.
